A five-stratum orthopedic substrate, engineered for support - not just softness.

Most commodity pet beds rely on loose polyester fill that compresses permanently under a dog's weight and offers little joint support. The RestPets substrate is a laminated composite of viscoelastic and high-resilience polyurethane foams, chosen for how they respond together under load: the top layer contours to pressure points, the core resists bottoming out, and an open-cell lattice lets heat move away from the surface.

  1. 01

    01 · Textile shell

A durable, breathable oat-toned weave with a concealed zip so the cover can be removed and machine-washed. Designed to hold up to repeated washing without pilling or losing shape.

  2. 02

    02 · Viscoelastic contour stratum

Open-cell memory foam that responds to body heat and weight, allowing the surface to soften under pressure points while gently supporting surrounding tissue.

  3. 03

    03 · High-resilience support core

A thicker high-resilience foam base that carries the majority of the load and resists bottoming out. Engineered to maintain rebound and structural height over repeated daily use.

  4. 04

    04 · Convoluted airflow lattice

Profile-cut open-cell foam that increases surface area and creates channels for air to move through the bed, helping dissipate body heat and reduce surface warmth during long sleep cycles.

  5. 05

    05 · Anti-migration base

A textured, low-profile base layer that increases static friction against hardwood, tile, and rug surfaces so the bed stays put when a dog steps in or pushes off.

Design principles

What we optimize for.

We specify foams by density, resilience, and cell structure rather than by generic softness. Each layer is chosen for a distinct job: pressure contouring, load support, airflow, or stability. The result is a bed that keeps its shape through daily use and supports dogs as their mobility needs change.
